Sawaed Aid was founded in 2024 by two friends during the war. As a team operating from Canada and Gaza, our mission is to provide emergency relief to the people in Gaza.
Our approach is a grassroots-driven model. Our team in Gaza is not just a partner, but an integral part of our initiative. Our contextually embedded model has allowed us to design projects that respond with local knowledge and sensitivity.

Our Projects
Food Aid
Our Food Program is committed to providing essential food items such as basic groceries and cooked meals.
Essentials Aid
Through this program, we aim to distribute hygiene, sanitation products, clothing, and other livelihood essentials to support those affected by the war.
Medical Aid
Our Medical Aid Program aims to provide medications for injured people. We can also organize free hospital check up days allowing beneficiaries to visit doctors for medical consultations and treatment.
Orphan Support
We ensure that our aid interventions regularly reach orphans through our emergency response programs.
Cash Assistance
The war has left many families without income. Through this program, we provide monetary assistance to those struggling to afford basic necessities.
Children's Program
We strive to bring comfort and joy to Gazan children. By organizing activities and distributing treats, we aim to create moments of normalcy for children who have suffered so much.

How we create change on the ground.
Our team has been delivering ongoing emergency response during extremely challenging circumstances. After receiving funds, we secure goods and services from local vendors and service providers in Gaza. All donations go towards the entire humanitarian response, including procurement, distribution and delivery or service cost to beneficiaries.
